Overview: The amount of the shipping charges is shown on the product details page by the shipping calculator. As a result, you can see the shipping fees in addition to the product price.
The shipping calculator gives you a transparent total cost and a clear idea of how much you are spending. You may customize the shopping experience to fit your business plan and still keep the design simple.
Shipping Manager offers the following Shipping Calculator settings:
Disable/ Enable
Location Form
Position
Let’s dive into the details and learn what each option offers:
Disable/Enable
Turning on this button will enable the shipping calculator to show the shipping fees in detail. Then click Save Settings to implement the changes.
After turning on the button, go to the shop page and click on a product to get inside the details.
As you can see, the shipping calculation is shown in the individual product details.
Turning off the button will simply remove the shipping calculator from the product details page.
Location Form
Turning on the location feature will showcase a location form on the product details page. So turn on the button and go to your shop page.
In the product details page, you can see the shipping calculator since it's turned on. Below the shipping calculator, you can see a button labeled Enter Your Location.
Now, select and fill in the Country, State, City, and Postcode on this form and click on the Update Location button.
After updating the location, the shipping calculator will represent the shipping fees according to your selected location.
Position
You can change the position of the shipping calculator and the location form placement. You have three options in the position menu, including: Before Add to Cart button, After Add to Cart button, and Using [tpsm-shipping-calculator/] shortcode.
Select the After Add to Cart button from the drop-down menu and click the Save Settings button.
Now, go to the product details page to see the shipping calculator's position. As you can see, the shipping calculator is now available before the Add to Cart button.
Now, select the [tpsm-shipping-calculator/] Using Shortcode option from the position options. Then click the Save Settings button and go to the individual product page.
Then go to the individual product page and click the Edit product option.
Now, place the shortcode [tpsm-shipping-calculator/] in the product description area. Do not forget to click Update to save changes.
Go to the individual product page and view the product description. As you can see, the Shipping calculator is available along with the product description.
